Brandi Bradley lives in Atlanta but was raised in Bells, Tennessee by a rodeo clown and a snake-oil salesman. In her published essays, she recounts stories about flea markets, diet supplements, liars, squatters, con artists, guitarists, and cowboys. In her fiction, she focuses on crime and relationships between women. Her short fiction and essays have been featured in Louisiana Literature, Carve, and the Nashville Review
